Cleaning Glass
Before you clean your windows try putting a beach towel on the window
sill to prevent your walls and floor
getting wet.
Try using old sheets and towels that haven't been washed in fabric
softener when drying clean windows
Wash inside of windows in one direction, the outside in the
opposite then you know which side has the streaks.
Try to clean windows in the shade as the sun can dry the glass causing
streaks before you finish cleaning
For sparkling windows, when window is almost dry rub it with a
piece of newspaper
If you wish to make your own glass cleaner try mixing 1/4 cup of white
vinegar to 2 cups of warm water
and 1/2 teaspoon liquid
dishwashing soap
If your windows are tinted you should try to turn away from commercial
cleaners as they can make the
film degrade instead try using a small amount of liquid dishwashing detergent.

Organic solvent cleaners should be avoided on mirrors since they may
attack the reflective backing.
Cleaning Fly / Security Screens
If you have our Screenguard™ or Crimsafe™ stainless steel
security screen system, wipe down the screen
using inox silicone spray
or similar, this will keep the screen clean from debris and rust
stains
(strongly advised for costal locations).
Any other type of Security screen system use a soapy sponge and "mop"
screen then rinse with clean water.
For any ordinary Flyscreens remove from window and place against a wall
and hose with high pressure spray if
needed, lay screen on smooth flat surface and sponge soapy water onto screen then hose,
allow to dry then
replace into window.

Opened without interfering with draperies and blinds or furniture
placement.
Easily fitted with screens and awnings if required.
Easily maintained, e.g.: cleaning.
Installation
Tips When
you are installing windows and doors there are some precautions you should take
to ensure that our
products will retain their ex-factory condition until installation is complete and the job
handed over.
Things to remember..
Keep wet cement, mortar and
brick-cleaning acid from contact with the aluminium (particularly if the finish
is
anodized), before, during and after installation.
If accidentally splashed,
wash off immediately with clean water, otherwise permanent staining or damage
may
occur. Do not use acid to remove
mortar stains on window frames.
Hose down brickwork to remove
residual cleaning acid that may leach out and cause damage to the finish later.
Do not place windows directly
onto green concrete slabs
Do not use window frames to
support planks or temporary scaffolding.
Clean up when the job is
complete with mild detergent and rinse with clean water.
Keep the tracks of sliding windows and doors clear of sand and cement droppings.
